Magical, stunning, heartwarming - a must see film

Every once in a while there comes a film that turns out to be a complete knock-out. Ma vie en rose is such a film and although the story seems simple (see review above) it is difficult to find words for this cinematic masterpiece. Apart from the stunning performance by George Du Fresne as Ludovic I would also commend the 'child's eye' camera work throughout the film. Seeing the world through the eyes of a 7 year old boy give a unique perspective not only about his perception of the real and the fantasy world but also puts a mirror to the often hypocritical world around him. This is not film you can watch and forget but you may wonder how you managed to miss it until now.
Unfortunately the DVD does not contain any worthwhile extras but the film is worth every second.
