A film version of a 1970s TV broadcast that engages you in an ultra close-up intensity of acting staged within stark lighting and costume. As with all Shakespeare it needs constant concentration matched with withdrawal of attention to understand the plot. In the most part great acting and almost the complete opposite of the modern action movie - its epic plot happens within a 3 metre radius with news brought on stage and action assumed. If you want something different, something showing great acting craft, something you have to work at then view this.
