Machete
The highly skilled Federale Machete is hired by some unsavoury types to assassinate a senator. But just as he's about to take the shot, he notices someone aiming at him and realizes he's been set up. He barely survives the sniper's bullet, and is soon out for revenge on his former employers, with the reluctant assistance of his old friend Cheech Marin, who has become a priest and taken a vow of non-violence.

Alba & Rodriguez in talks to return for Machete sequel

Jessica Alba and Michelle Rodriguez are in talks to reprise their Machete characters for the film's upcoming sequel. The two actresses are close to signing on for Robert Rodriguez's action film, which will star Danny Trejo as the strong and silent titular character, according to website BloodyDisgusting.com. Alba played an immigration agent who falls for Machete while Rodriguez portrayed rebel leader Luz. The new movie, titled Machete Kills, will start shooting later this spring (12). Read more
