Wasted on children

At last, after so many disappointing animations here's a great film that had me in bits. The characters, voice-overs and animation are all spot on and the jokes are aimed at kids and adults. The message, how a black man can come to accept his gay son is unusual and handled well without being cloying or overly sentimental. It’s hard to imagine who wouldn’t love this film.

A rare thing

A rare find, a children's/family film where the jokes are written for the entire audience, not closed off adult jokes buried inside children's movies as is so often the case. This is a well written comedy that made me laugh from start to finish, casting is wonderful, Sacha BC particularly so.

Another thing, a sequel that betters the original? Not often, but this was a film entirley in its own right and not a cash cow playing on the success of the original
