Charting the cultural explosion in Sheffield's music scene between 1977 and 1982, seeing the international success of The Human League, Cabaret Voltaire, Heaven 17 and ABC. Eve Wood's documentary is made up of rare archive footage and interviews with Sheffield's finest including Human League's Phil Oakey and Pulp's Jarvis Cocker, plus a contribution from John Peel. To a backdrop of unemployment and industrial decline, Sheffield's electro-pop scene saw the creation of some of the most individual music at that time.
