A drama based on the unauthorised biography on Madonna - Madonna: Unauthorised. This film charts the controversial life and career of one of the world's most successful female artists. Terumi Matthews plays Madonna, as we chart her life from her childhood days in Detroit, Michigan where her mother died at an early age, to her journey to New York with no money, where she won a scholarship at a top dance school. She soon becomes lead singer in her boyfriend's band, and then is spotted while performing her first gig with the band. From then on, she never looked back.
