2 hours of my life I'm not getting back...

I rented this for a laugh to watch with my girlfriend... Turns out the joke was on us. I thought (judging by the trailer) this would be a romcom-esk movie (which I'm happy enough with) but it ended up being an almost painfully bad look into the *gritty world of male stripping* (really?!). The film is shot in such a way as to try to emphasize this gritty feel, be it the poor audio, going nowhere conversations or bleached look to the whole film. We had to force ourselves to continue watching in the hope of some closure to the terrible storyline... Yep, you don't get that either btw.
Verdict: The strip scenes were a relief from the rest of this abysmal film (this coming from a straight guy).- Was this review helpful to you?

Channing Tatum though

I feel like the storyline was a bit slow and just kind of veered off at 90mph when the writers realised it was maybe a bit too long. That being said it is a great film to ogle at Channing Tatum. Not a great movie :/

No actual gripping storyline however like many of the other reviews suggest if you are having a girlie night in the ideal movie for the simple shallow reason that the cast is full of beautiful men lol- Was this review helpful to you?

Why Did I Bother
By a customer , 13 May 2013I usually select films on the basis of what actor(s) are in it and/or the subject matter. I like Channing Tatum but the film is unbelievably shallow - guess I'm just not that in to strippers. I did try to watch it but just didn't care about the story line in the end and switched it off.- Was this review helpful to you?
