Abraca-laughter.....
By PaulaWestwood (397 reviews) from Ashton-Under-Lyne , 19 May 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
Having not watched the 'Peep Show' series, and seen these two only on the Mac adverts in the cinema and the trailers for this, I had no real idea what to expect, thinking oh, ohhhh - have I seen the best bits in the trailers.
Not so.... this was a hilarious farce on a par with anything I have seen this year, it made the whole theatre laugh out loud all through, with more gags than a Magician could hide up his sleeve.
Great to see Jessica Hynes as assistant Linda and it was cool to see the real Ali Bongo in a cameo role that took me back to my childhood TV, lovely....
I would definately recommend seing this for a bit of a giggle, it brightened my weekend.- Was this review helpful to you?

(124)Mitchell and Webb not at their best
By a customer , 22 Feb 2012Not Mitchell and Webbs funniest work. Got a bit bored half way through this. If your expecting a laugh a minute then this is probably not for you.- Was this review helpful to you?

Just avoid!
By a customer , 25 Nov 2011I hired this expecting it to be the same type of humour as their TV series - big mistake! So embarassingly awful I just could not watch it to the end. Maybe it got better, but I doubt it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Love peep show but don't love this film!
By a customer , 02 Oct 2011Not the best performance by Mitchell and Webb. Thought I'd enjoy this film as I loved peep show but was very disapointed. some funny parts but overall a poor storyline and acting.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not at all funny. . .
By pilchardman (24 reviews) from edinburgh , 26 Jan 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
I honestly don't understand why some people have given this 4-5 stars! I feel embarrassed for Mitchell and Webb for making this movie as it's just not funny in the slightest (I think I may have smiled once or twice throughout the whole thing).
I'm a big fan of Peep Show and find it hilarious, but this is just completely different and boring in comparison. The story is weak, the jokes are very sparce and not funny, some scenes go on forever, and the ending is unclimactic.
It's a shame that some people may see this before Peep show and assume that these two are talentless and therefore not watch it. If you haven't seen Peep Show, get that instead; if you have seen Peep show (and like it),avoid this like the plague.- Was this review helpful to you?
