If those unavoidable Mac ads were damaging to the credibility of Peep Show comedians David Mitchell and Robert... read more on Time Out
Having not watched the 'Peep Show' series, and seen these two only on the Mac adverts in the cinema and the trailers for this, I had no real idea what to expect, thinking oh, ohhhh - have I seen the best bits in the trailers.
Not so.... this was a hilarious farce on a par with anything I have seen this year, it made the whole theatre laugh out loud all through, with more gags than a Magician could hide up his sleeve.
Great to see Jessica Hynes as assistant Linda and it was cool to see the real Ali Bongo in a cameo role that took me back to my childhood TV, lovely....
I would definately recommend seing this for a bit of a giggle, it brightened my weekend.
Dreadful, thats as nice as i can be. I've not seen a good british comedy for ages and i thought this might be the one, how wrong i was, this ranks just as bad as confetti and i think everyone knows how bad that was. There was very little story line and laughs were at a minimum, even the die hard mitchell and webb fans will find this disappointing. Could of been so much more, but failed on so many levels! Stay clear unless you are forced by gun point to watch either this or confetti, even then don't rule out the bullet.
