    Devgan's show

An excellent performance by Ajay Devgan makes this film a worth while watch. The subject is different and makes a change from the usual drash that bollywood churns out. The film could have been better, especially the court scenes but still good watch.

    Restyling of Sean Penn's

Devgan, Gungun and Sen are great. Devgan in particular at last has a chance to flex his acting skills, and Sen's monologue to a weeping Devgan is especially good. A great showcase for them, and also the director... unfortunately, specifically towards the end, it was a bit flat, and overused the 'shaky' camera effect, in addition to turning up the sugar factor.

Not standard bollywood, BUT definitely recommended...!

    An excellent Bollywood weepie

A truly amazing film compared to Bollywoods usual love story junk. It is about an autistic father's struggle for the custody of his daughter. Although I'm not an Ajay Devgan fan but he has done an excellent job in this movie. There are some moments which really makes you weep and some subtle comedy also. A must see if you want something different from your usual Bollywood junk.

    Very entertaining

This films is about a autistic man (played by Ajay Devgan) who has a mind of a 7 year old. He has a 7 year old daughter whom he looked after from birth. The girls grandfather wants to take her in to his custody from her father. This is a very good drama there scenes that will make you lough as well as cry. This is one of Ajay Devghans best performace.

It also stars Sushmita Sen, she has acted very well in this film, as an actress she come very far. This is a family film whic hvery enjayable. very highly recommended!

    Excellent family weepie

Brilliant movie showing the relationship between a retarded father and his 7 year old daughter and the subsequent custody battle with the child's grandfather. Fantastic performance by Ajay Devgan as the autistic father, which was only surpassed by the little girl who played his daughter. She stole the show for me, with a sensitive portrayal that was not the normal , irritating brat that you so often see in Indian cinema. There were also good supporting performances from the rest of the cast, especially, Sushmita Sen and Esha Deol. Sushmita played the busy lawyer, who has no time for her child, to perfection, and even Esha surprised us with a sound portrayal of an angry confused young woman. I was a tad disappointed with the ending, but nevertheless, this was an excellent & moving film which was thoroughly enjoyed, even by my 9 year old daughter, who was desperately trying to suppress her tears during the movie. Well worth it!!

    Emotional

Excellent performances, worth watching. Is a copy of Hollywood flick 'I am Sam' but still enjoyable. Ajay Devgan proves what a brilliant performer he is.

    It was ok!

I think the reason i did not enjoy it as much as i could have is because i have seen the american blockbuster which was 10 times better 'I am Sam', ajay devgan did very well he's an excellent actor no doubt about it but sean penn's protryal was amazing.

so my advice is if you seen the american version dont watch this but if you havent then watch it coz u will love it.
