Major Funny
By a customer from Stevenage. England , 08 Jan 2007[Highly rated reviewer]
This truly amusing film which spawned a sequel as bad as this film is good.
Where to start?? Charlie Sheen plays an ex-con who makes it into the Majors because the team owner wants the team to lose so she can relocate to a warmer climate. Tom Berenger is the washed up pro riddled with injury making one last stand in the big show. As with all films where the odds are stacked against them the team start winning in a bid to save the club with 'Wild Thing' Vaughn leading the way.- Was this review helpful to you?

Release on DVD in UK please
By a customer , 17 Aug 2011This is an amazing feel good comedy about a bunch of over the hill baseball stars or players no one has every heard off trying to have one last good day in the sun by fighting the plans of the ex showgirl owner of a major league baseball team to move the team which she can do if they finish dead last.
It contains one of the first major screen appearances from Wesley Snipes but stars Tom Berringer who is always good value to watch - Charlie Sheen is not bad either.
Ignore the sequels but why have they not yet released this within the UK on DVD? my video copy is getting very very worn- Was this review helpful to you?
