Dance-Tastic!By a customer from Dunstable , 24 Sep 2008
[Highly rated reviewer]At first i thought it was just going to be another wannabe dancer type film who finally makes it but actually i was suprised. This one had a little more edge to it.
Yes it is the typical storyline but it was so much more. This one had the passion of the dance it portayed and you could feel it. The burlesque type dancing is its own genre and i thought that the film portrayed this particular style very well with some great routines and well trained dancers, it' definatly one to watch.
You will like this if your a fan of Honey, Save the last dance, Stop the Yard, How she move etc. which are also some great films.

Worth a watch.By writeratheart (3 reviews) , 01 Aug 2012One of the better dance movies I have seen? It wasnt the usual, ghetto from the wrong side of the tracks with the posh person, or anything like that. Instead it was the story of one girl who had a dream, and tried to achieve it.
I would say, give this a chance, it is better than a lot of the others.
A Step Up from Step UPBy Film_Addict (1 review) , 12 Oct 2011I think this film has been given some harsh criticism that it doesn't diserve. It has the three things you look for in a dance flick; that is good dancing, a bit of romance with a fit guy and most importantly it leaves you feeling like you should bust a move!
Make It Happen (2008)By a customer from London, England , 03 Oct 2011Now this is a really bad film and disappointed with this film. I lost interest and was so pleased when it was over!. I never thought I would say that about a dance film. it was more like a mock of all the other films, such as step up2, save the last dance etc etc. This girl really can't dance.
Make it HappenBy a customer , 25 Jul 2011i liked the dance movies and this is in that list. Also i liked the story line within the film.
A so-so dance filmBy a customer , 17 Jul 2011I quite enjoy watching dance films, my personal favourite being Save the Last Dance. Maybe I was expecting too much but I found this film to be a cross between Save the Last Dance and Burlesque. OK maybe that's a bit unfair to compare it to Burlesque seeing as this was made before Burlesque came out, but that's the best way I can describe it.
The dancing was also pretty average and nothing spectacular. I think in recent years there has been too many dance films that have the same background story.
There are better dance films around, but if you're bored and looked for something to do for 90 mins this is OK. Just doon't expect too much in terms of plot or dancing.
