Just brilliant.fantastic cast, great writing, good production. This is comedy genius. Slightly like The Simpsons but with real life characters.
A tribute to the writing team who clearly understand what American comedy is all about which is largely observations about life.
I still watch these on Sky TV and they still make me laugh out loud.
It maddens me that because this is American certain biggotted attitudes prevent ignorant people from enjoying and admiring this series.

With great characters, my favourite character is Craig Feldspar.
It's a shame only series 1 is available on DVD, (I read that this is due to licensing or music royalty issues?).

Absolutely hilarious

All the characters keep you entertained for hours and it is the most amusing comedy for families. it is not aimed at kids specifically, but is great for them. Nothing inapropriate and since it was aimed at adults, you can enjoy it too. Every single season goes beyond my expectations. The only thing i'd look out for is the last episodes- which aren't as good. Since only the first seasons were made into dvds you'll have to settle on the reruns on sky, but this is great to see what it's about!- Was this review helpful to you?

Do you even have to ask?
By Sheldonlt (49 reviews) from Solihull , 18 Feb 2009ALl you have to do is watch an episode of this brilliant TV Show ( about 5 on Sky1/2) I would consider buying this never mind renting it, although i dont understand why it is listed as reserve? THis is easily one of the best comedies to ever grace television that all the family can enjoy. Also in response to the other reviewer saying that you cant see Malcolm in HMV. This is most liekly because only Season 1 of Malcolm in The Middle Was ever released on DVD. No other seasons were released due to Music licensing costs.- Was this review helpful to you?

Criminally Under rated
By Stephen Hardy from Tamworth , 15 Oct 2006I Have watched this show for quite a while now and it never gets boring noted that this season the first one wasn't as good as later seasons but you gotta start somewhere and yet its only release on region 1 DVD ,I just think its just criminal that you go into HMV and take a look at all the TV Boxsets and see all the sh*t that is available to purchase and there is no malcolm in the middle , From when I used to watch this on Sky one I remember it was fun and entertaining from start to finish , well that maybe the answer of why it wasn't succsessfull over here cos it was fun and entertaining and The majority of British people mainly adults only seem to like boring adulterate Squit- Was this review helpful to you?
