    Very much worth watching

    Excellent

Without ruining the film for you, here is a quick run through.

An american Teenage boy at college, who lives a troubled life at home/school etc, has just one love, cinema and dreams of becoming a director.

The high school/college are offering a scholarship to the pupil who produces the best 10 minute film.

The boy teams up with an old film lighting man called Flash Madden who helped make classic films (citizen Kane etc). The problem is Flash is now a drunk and has many chips on his shoulders.

The film explores the growing relationship between the two and how they overcome many problems to produce a film showing how many retired people are forgotten/neglected and placed in nursing homes .

Its a great film better than it sounds and

    well worth watching.

WHEN WILL THEY EVER LEARN ?

Those who produce DVDs appear to be unaware a percentage of users have difficulties with hearing and therefore SUBTITLES are essential ! This movie had a good storyline and a cast of capable actors, however the sound and photography left a lot to be desired and the quality was badly affected. If a DVD lacks subtitles this should be clearly indicated before selection is made
