This clever thriller takes you on an entertaining ride and isn't all it seems to be.

What's in a name?By snoopygirl (1 review) , 16 Feb 2012
[Highly rated reviewer]As a fairly clever and engaging thriller, this would have got 4. 5 stars however, it lost half a point for the bad name, and another half for the ridiculous gratuitous underwear shots of Jamie Bell's girlfriend.
Yes, Sam Worthington's accent is all over the place and some of the lesser known actors are a little hammy. Some of the stunts would be impossible in real life, but nobody ever said that this type of film was anything but escapism.
There is a good ensemble cast here, and the plot runs along at a fair pace. I can't say much about the story without ruining it for you but, suffice it to say that it's a story of good vs evil for our technologically savvy age. I guessed quite a few of the twists and turns but I've seen and read a lot of thrillers, so I was probably ahead of the game.
All in all, a good effort for this genre, and very enjoyable. I'd watch it again.

sunday night thrillerBy scowie64 (1 review) , 09 Dec 2013perfect for a lazy sunday evening , entertaining thriller, not the best film you will ever see but certainly not the worst
Worth watchingBy Underworld (157 reviews) from London , 01 Dec 2013A good thriller, good ensemble cast, good ending, though fairly predictable. Definitely worth watching. It certainly kept me on the ledge.
Hum drumBy empathaur (1 review) , 28 Nov 2013Not a classic but its perfectly fine if you want to switch off to a bit of mindless entertainment one evening.
Could have ended so much better!By SarFoz (1 review) , 26 Nov 2013'Man on a Ledge' started off well but became increasingly implausible. The word ludicrous best describes the last 10 minutes.
Ace film!!By Nene89 (64 reviews) , 25 Nov 2013this was a great film. the story was very clever and something new,the actors were great. This film is worth watching again and again. The ending was perfect, Banks and Worthington were brilliant. I don't know how it got bad reviews because it didn't deserve them. Also I think the name of the film was good, funny and straight to the point.
