Do you like 80s buffont hair styles?

Does the sight of a shell suit fill you with awe?

    Is Bruce Campbell a God?

Do you like your horror more cheesy then Mr Cheese's Cheese party?

If you answered yes to the above then this film is for you. I expected little from this film and it did not deliver that much but it was impressive enough.

A rogue cop is on the loose in NYU killing innocent people. The police think they have their man when they arrest Bruce Campbell. But is it a mistake? Will Bruce assure his freedom? Can a film contain more crimson?

Maniac Cop - a superior cheesy 80s horror, think Fright Night!

Interesting story. Worth watching if absolutely bored as the acting is not much good. Funny dude Bruce Campbell is around for a laugh and he extends himself to the sequel as well.

A Terrible film from an era of terrible films. But what you gonna do?

Mad half dead cop going around on rampage, Bruce Campbell gets fitted for the killings and has to clear himself.

The B-Movie genre rarel gets better.

Worth it to see young Bruce to his 'I'm freaked out and scared' look ;)

Only rented this because it starred the legendary iron-chinned Bruce Campbell! I was actually disappointed at the amount he was in it really..this is one of those films where no one is really the star, but is also one of those films where you really don't give a toss!

Story wise, this is no different to a million other films of the same genre, and even paves the way for some of cinemas more recent teeny slasher films. Except this one is about a deranged copper who likes to go about serving, but in no way protecting innocent folks on the streets.

Watch it with some beers and a take away...but don't expect any Evil Dead style Brucie one-liners!!
