Victim of it's own successBy a customer from Glasgow, Scotland , 11 Aug 2004
[Highly rated reviewer]As a definite fan of the first series, I was foaming at the mouth at the prospect of seeing the second. But the first was a perfect entity in it's own right, and I suppose I should have known any more of Keith Barret's adventures would be superfluous. Unfortunately the half hour format doesn't work as well as the 10 minute mini-bites which were so effective before. The monologues seem to dribble on for eternity, and at times it's almost impossible to remain conscious, never mind sustain attention. I still think Rob Brydon's a genius though.

Simply SublimeBy Gonemad1 (103 reviews) from ◄Gecko Reviews► , 29 Dec 2010I can't say anymore than what i put in my review of series one. So in stead here's the definition of Sublime.
1. Characterized by nobility; majestic.
a. Of high spiritual, moral, or intellectual worth.
b. Not to be excelled; supreme.
3. Inspiring awe; impressive.
4. Archaic Raised aloft; set high.
5. Obsolete Of lofty appearance or bearing; haughty: 'not terrible,/That I should fear . . . /But solemn and sublime' (John Milton).
1. Something sublime.
2. An ultimate example.
Says it all i think.
FUNNYBy a customer from ENGLAND , 20 Aug 2008VERY FUNNY IF YOU LIKED SERIES ONE YOU WILL LIKE TWO ITS SO FUNNY
PerfectionBy a customer from Bristol , 01 Sep 2006TV doesn't get any better than this. It's just a man, in his car, telling us the story of his life at the moment.
It's funny in places and very moving in others. Rob Brydons acting throughout is brilliant and you really warm to Keith emotionally as he struggles to always see the best in people.
Dark & BroodingBy a customer from England , 13 Aug 2006A lot darker than the excellent first series and you can see why they never made anymore. The material just isn't there to fill 30 minutes per episode. Still worth a look but don't expect the kinda laughs you got from series one.
This man is a genius!By LesleyMary from Buckinghamshire , 13 Jun 2006Rob Brydon can do no wrong, and this is a series of little gems. His observations of people are so accurate.
