My little girl really enjoyed it as I did, it brought a tear to my eye at one point!
Its made My little girl understand a little more why us parents are bossy sometimes!

(23)Good for the whole family
By Deanoson (115 reviews) from romford , 21 Mar 2013this was an enjoyable movie that involves a young boy called Milo who sets out to rescue his `mom` when she is kidnapped by Martians to help them look after their young hatchlings ..the nanny robots on Mars don't have the same ability to control their children as earth mothers do , so they intend to extract the memories from Milo`s mother which , will not be good for her . Having stowed away on the spaceship, Milo is soon captured by the Martians , thankfully though he escapes after a voice tells him to jump down a garbage chute, there he meets a techie named Gribble another human who also tried to rescue his `mom` years ago but failed and had to grow up on Mars , after some thought he agrees to help Milo rescue his mother ..they also get help from a young Martian girl called Ki who realizes her kind also once had families like Milo and have been deceived by the Martian supervisor . The film has plenty of action to keep you interested and the characters are interesting and different enough to keep you watching ..I loved the character of Ki ..if you check out the bonus features on the DVD it has a behind the scenes feature and shows more about the characters and how the film came together .- Was this review helpful to you?

Lovely childrens film give it a go
By a customer , 02 Oct 2012why are people so hard on this film, it's a lovely childrens film there are a lot worse out there that are given a lot of hype
and don't deliver this is a sweet story my daughter and wife
were moved to tears at one point. I feel sorry for Disney
that it didn't do as well, maybe change the title and re-release
as my son says the title sucks!!- Was this review helpful to you?

By welshness (1 review) , 31 Aug 2012really wanted to like this film. heard it bombed and just thought it was bad taste... i dont understand why so much money was poured into a film where the use seth green to perform in the tech suit, but changed the voice and face... it made no sense...
