Vampire...not Vampire?

Martin is a very interesting film, about a boy who appears to be a Vampire (an 84 year old Vampire to be precise!). There are plenty of twists using the conventions of the vampire film to lead you around and around the issues as to whether he REALLY is a vampire. The acting is not bad, the effects, for a fairly old film are ok too. This film is a must for vampire film fans , purely for its clever manipulation of the conventions of the genre and character. A surprise ending, that caught me unawares, which also made me laugh! Also, its a must for GEORGE A. ROMERO fans, purely for its originality and comparison to his ususal Zombie flicks!
