Only rent this film if you love terrible ham acting and a ridiculous plot. It's meant to be a serious thriller but it's just a hilarious comedy. Camp, demented fun. Meg Tilly can't act at all so the rest of the cast (especially Kim Cattrall and Desperate Husband Doug Savant) act for her and then some! The only one who comes away from this mess with any dignity at all is - surprisingly - Rob Lowe. He's not a bad thesp at all, actually.
The fashions are dire but not as dire as the script which is not as dire as the acting. The best bit is where Meg Tilly finally loses the plot right at the end - won't spoil it for you, just rent it and weep (with laughter).
A riot of a film. A true bad movie to be loved.
