    Tom Cruise is reportedly flying back to the big screen in a sequel to 1986 classic Top Gun. Producer Jerry Bruckheimer hinted last year (09) that he was working on a follow-up to a hugely popular "aviation" movie, sparking rumours the hit film would be revived for a new generation of cinema-goers.     Mel Gibson is reportedly set to make his acting comeback - in a film directed by his Maverick co-star Jodie Foster.     Movie bosses are in talks to bring Tom Cruise back for a sequel to his hit 1986 movie Top Gun. The original film's producer, Jerry Bruckheimer, has confirmed he's been approached with plans to resurrect Cruise's character, Lieutenant Pete 'Maverick' Mitchell, for a follow-up to the naval aviation drama.
