Painfully bad. Garner must have been in need of cash.

This bears no relation to the telly program of the same name despite presence of James Garner. It is ghastly through and through. The two leads have no more spark than two mossy logs in the same pond. The plot was born on a cocktail napkin, I'd guarantee it. It should have remained there. It is mpossible to believe this is the same Mel who gave us a really great Hamlet.
