Maynard Ferguson as Guest Soloist

Very short DVD. Awful singing from guest vocalists, poor audio, poor live sound engineering,but...
great trumpet and footage of maynard at the peak of his career. More for a collector or Maynard extreme fan, not great viewing. Big band is alright, a bit weak compared to Maynards own band - but then again, everything is weak compared to Maynard's own bands!
Enjoyed it, but most of the good bits ARE on YouTube anyway, so had already seen the highlights.
Singing is so bad its funny - Czech singers crooning in English - almost as funny as the japanese singers with the Manhattan Jazz Orchestra if you've seen that!
So if you are a Maynard fan and on an Unlimited LoveFilm package, it's worth a shot, DONT BUY IT THOUGH!
