McCallum without McCallum. Taggart without Taggart. What are things coming to?
This DVD is as good as the first four, but John Hannah is not in it, and if, like me, you watch McCallum because of John Hannah, it's a bit of a disappointment. Also, only one episode plus a 'feature' interview, compared with 2 on previous DVDs.
However, the plot is excellent, the new man is fine, the action is excellent and it will keep you guessing until the end.- Was this review helpful to you?

The plots are preposterous and repetitive, the acting is so-so and John Hannah must be one of the least charismatic actors ever to star in a series, second only to the boring John Nettles- Was this review helpful to you?

Interesting plot lines. McCallum is always right (just like Grissom!) and I like the supporting cast. What a shame they never made another series!- Was this review helpful to you?
