I found this really watchable. It was interesting to see how the close and genuine friendship gradually evolved into something quite controlling to almost suffocating and how it affected their lives over time.
Being a teen in that era, I really enjoyed the 80's music and thought the attention to detail really good.
My only critisicms would be that it was a little over long and a was a little disappointed with the predictable, but probably inevitable, ending.
