I'm not the biggest fan of Meatloaf, but this was really good. I love the way he makes all the 3 minute songs last 15 minutes. The whole show was fabulous and there is lots to see. The problem i have with meatloaf albums is the audio quality but stick this dvd in DTS surround and whack the volume up, and you'll be singing along. 5 stars definatly worth watching.
The backing group was awful and the 2 female singers sounded like rasping sandpaper. When the camera did focus on Meat Loaf, all you saw was the wad of gum he was masticating. How could 13 songs be stretched out to 132 minutes, I really don't know. I'm glad I rented it first, as I'd originally planned to buy it. Other crossover combinations, such as Metallica/San Francisco, Deep Purple/RSO & KISS/Melbourne Symphony Orchestra were 5 stars in comparision.
