Medium is a show to watch!!

I saw the first season on tv and can say it is extremely good. Patricia Arquette is very underated. I was very impressed with the power of this character and amazing husband who is there for her at all times. I will recommned to anyone. Very good cast and gripping stories that make you want for more. I cannot wait for the second season!!

seems to have been missed by many

This is one of the best series around. It would have been very easy for the series to have become repetitive- the medium saves the day with her special powers. In fact each episode is very different from the next. The acting is excellent and the stories original. What surprises me is how few people have actually watched it.

This is the missed hit of the year

Please tell me - Why did the BBC decide to screen this so late at night?

I knew by what I had seen that I would love this. I have only received the first 4 episodes but I cannot wait to see the full series!

Set in Phoenix, Arizona. This is about a woman, in her early 30's who on the surface seems to be a normal surburban housewife, who like many women juggles her working life with her family life.

She is however, very unique as she has an extrordianary gift for communnicating with the dead and during her internship for the district eterny, they discover her psychic powers and decide to utilise this to uncover cases which they cannot conclude!.

She fights hard to make the powers that be that she is no phony pshchic and bit by bit they realise that she can see and dream about the dead. Providing a different insite to each case that she is involved with and slowly gaining the respect of the sceptical authorites.

This show has the right balance of gore and normality that it makes compelling viewing!!!! briliant

    Not bad

They have actually got really good actors in this series which makes it watchable but I found the plots a bit predictable and couldn't be bothered watching the next series. The best bit of the entire series is the reaction of the cop when he sees the body in episode 3 (dont want to give it away but you'll know when you see it).

I am so glad I could see the pilot of this film

I followed that show in spite of the BBC showing it at midnight on a Monday. It's a profiler of another kind and I love the relationship the protagonist has with her husband and children. A very human tale with extraordinary powers.

    Addictive!

I first saw this series whilst on holiday in the States last year.

I saw one episode and was addicted.

When I got back home I couldn't wait for it to be shown and am now stuck into Season 2.

Plots change in every show and it's actually based on a real person!

    Well worth a watch.

Spooky and yet funny in parts, this is a very entertaining series. Lots of twists and turns to keep you on your toes.

    A first of it's genre

I love the dark elements of this series combined with the boring but delightful mundanities of family life. I find each storyline is a complete film in itself and find the variety stimulating. I love the idea that the spirit world can co-exist with the real world and this is well executed. If you like ghosts, this is your type of dvd!

The only downside is that there are far too many in bed/woken up with a start scenes. The poor couple must be complete zombies by now they are awoken so often in the dead of night.

I find this to be the us version of the uk 'Afterlife', which compares favourably.

    Simply Excellent

I had seen a couple of episodes of Meduim when I was suffering from Insomnia several months ago and really enjoyed them. I thought I knew the general plot of the series but I found there was so much more. I really love the diverse storylines and I think the cast especially Patrcia Arquette are great! A must see series - when are you stocking season 2!
