Ringo Starr and Dave Stewart to make film musical

The Beatles legend Ringo Starr and Eurythmics rocker Dave Stewart have signed up for a big screen musical. The film will tell the coming-of-age story of kids who form a band in a depressed mining town, reports Deadline.com. Starr and Stewart came up with the idea for Hole in the Fence, and will also pen the soundtrack. Drew Barrymore and Eddie Murphy have been named and shamed as the most overpaid actors in Hollywood. The Forbes.com poll suggests Barrymore's recent movies have generated a return of just £0.25 for every £0.63 she is paid by film studio bosses, thanks to box office flops Whip It, Everybody's Fine and last year's (10) Going The Distance, which earned a paltry £11.13 million in U.S. ticket sales.
