LOVEFiLM Review

By Tom Charity from LOVEFiLM
It's nothing mind-blowing but Little Fockers is a worthy follow up in the Meet the Parents trilogy.

Little Fockers, a disappointment!
By Carlosweinas (1 review) from Bournemouth , 04 Jan 2011[Highly rated reviewer]
Very poor! Writing and dialogue was not up to scratch for the cast and the movie suffered from a severe lack of quality jokes when compared to the first two movies.
The plot was weak with a number of plot lines/comedy setups going nowhere.
Only Wilson could raise a smile as his returning character. It seemed as if the writers had taken all the aspects of the characters that made them funny, such as Stiller's awkwardness and Jack's fanaticism and decided to remove them!
Even the title was somewhat misleading in that the Little Fockers hardly featured and were underused. Little Jack played a bigger role in the second movie.
All in all very disappointing!- Was this review helpful to you?

(369)Tired, Predictable, Dull and Pointless...
By Sector2814 (20 reviews) , 10 Feb 2013The spark has long gone, the performances are phoned in, the kids are horrible, the script is dire and everyone has become a characateur of their former character.
We lasted 15 minutes before getting it out of the DVD and putting something else in instead.- Was this review helpful to you?

Good addition to the other Fockers
By Ash82 (27 reviews) , 31 Jan 2013Funny in parts, abit of a weak storyline but its good addition to the previous Fockers. De Niro is quality as usual.- Was this review helpful to you?

Meet the parents - fockers little details
By Scorpion16 (18 reviews) , 07 Dec 2012A light hearted comedy which follows up from the previous two movies. The gags are funny but not totally gut-wrenching. A good movie to watch on a cold december's night. Most of the jokes were a bit dull and lacked a bite..- Was this review helpful to you?

Running out of steam
By a customer , 12 Oct 2012Despite the odd giggle, this instalment is disappointing compared to earlier films which were 'laugh out loud' as they say. Going forward I doubt I would bother with any subsequent films.- Was this review helpful to you?

Little Gem
By movielover1971 (100 reviews) from Leeds , 08 Sep 2012After the 2nd,still funny but a bit dissapointing outing i was surprised to hear that they were making a 3rd. But it is back on form. Robert De Niro and Ben Stiller are both back on form as the over protected father in law and the long suffering son in law and this time adding the wonderful Jessica Alba makes this a must see. Its not laugh out funny but more on the lines of cringworthy funny, like the previous 2 films you always feel sorry for Greg Focker and his countless attemps to impress Jack Byrnes.- Was this review helpful to you?
