In the freezing North Atlantic waters off the coast of Greenland, Nexecon Petroleum is ushering in a new age of oil exploration. It’s drilling and production platform, the Colossus, is the largest ever constructed and can drill deeper than any rig before. However, there is concern among Geologists that the delicate ocean floor could be disrupted with catastrophic effects.
As the powerful drill tears through the seabed, a fissure forms, revealing a second ‘mirror’ ocean that has existed beneath ours for millions of years. The crew of the Colossus are unaware that this second ocean is home to the most terrifying predator imaginable: Carcharadon Megalodon, the ancient ancestor of the Great White Shark. Soon the 11 ton, 60 foot monster stakes its territory in the waters above destroying and devouring everything in its path.
Now the crew of the Colossus must battle the most fearsome creature ever to roam the oceans in order to survive in the most hostile waters imaginable.

This film looks great... but only if you've not seen it. It's got a great title, it's got a great poster. And it's got a bunch of people that every viewer wants a shark to eat for supper (like the actors, fx crew, writer, director)... no, really...
Absoloutly shocking i could make a better shark movie in my bath with a rubber duck! Jaws wipes the floor with it, and believe it or not the ''not so'' special effects are worse than the jaws films and they were made a fair few years earlier! Not recommended at all, trust me, getting acid in your eye while being stung by wild bee's is so much more of a pleasurable experience its unbelieveable! less than half a star! painful doesn't cover it! if you need to disapline your kids this is the one to do it, they be good as gold after.
