Over the years, he has tried to conquer Metro City in every imaginable way. Each attempt, a colossal failure thanks to the caped superhero known as "Metro Man," an invincible hero until the day Megamind actually kills him in the throes of one of his botched evil plans. Suddenly, Megamind has no purpose. A supervillain without a superhero. He realizes that achieving his life's ambition is the worst thing that ever happened to him. Megamind decides that the only way out of his rut is to create a new hero opponent called "Titan," who promises to be bigger, better and stronger than Metro Man ever was. Pretty quickly Titan starts to think it's much more fun to be a villain than a good guy . Except Titan doesn't just want to rule the world, he wants to destroy it. Now, Megamind must decide: can he defeat his own diabolical creation? Can the world's smartest man make the smart decision for once? Can the evil genius become the unlikely hero of his own story?

Capers of catastrophe

An unusually clever children's film showing the perspective of the bad guy. Will Ferrell is again hilarious and shows how boring life would be for an evil genius in the event that (heaven forbid) a writer depicts evil overcoming good. A miserable life of tedium and loneliness for the only villain left and no-one to fight drives Megamind to create his own hero to battle with (or so he thinks). Personally I thought it was fun and not exactly the predictable children's film that we're all used to.

One of the greatest animation films ever made

Really good film, the story, the voices, everything was fab, a film which adult's and kid's will enjoy and a great film to watch over and over again.

Amazingly brilliant

WOW, WOW, WOW... this is such a good film, the kids loved it, the adults loved it, even the minions loved it! One of the funniest and entertaining cartoon comedy films i've seen in a looooooong time

Superman as you've never seen it before.

Absolutely genius plot. This film mirrors the Superman origin except from the viewpoint of the another superchild who grew up in jail. A superbly acted film with some genuinely hilarious sequences. All the acting talent in this film are on top form with some inspired casting. I cannot recommend this film highly enough.

Good old family flick.
