    [Highly rated reviewer]

This was the series when melrose place found its identity. Rather then the more self contained episodes of the first(similar to beverley hills) it opted for a more adult soap opera approach. Yes some plot line were unbelievable but the show never took itself too seriously. This series provided drama, many tears, many evil doings and loadsa romance. This was the beginning of one of the best secret guilty pleasures american tv has ever provided. And you can not belive the stars of the future it provided. Desperate housewives has a lot to be thankfull for. finally you get the gorgous evil trio of amanda, kimberley and sydney, what more could you ask for. Roll on the next series on dvd.
