The real Istanbul

A realistic slice of what life is like in a fast growing metropolis. From the poverty of the uneducated, the struggling middle classes to the glitzy shops for the rich this film gave me a more thorough understanding of Istanbul away from the tourist sights.
It seems modest, dealing with everyday problems - but the sum is greater than the parts and what you get is a troubling, thoughtful and entertaining picture of life, all centred on the dramatic beauty of the Bosphorus Bridge.- Was this review helpful to you?
