How to describe this?

It would be true to say that this is exactly as we imagined. It follows the Bollywood formula (boy meets girl, falls in love, loses girl etc etc), lots of singing repititious songs, lots of dancing all in glorious black and white. I couldn't get out of my mind that the lead actor looked like a tanned Peter Cooke and half expected Dud to make an appearance as the ubiquitous clown. At three hours long it is probably 90 minutes too long, but at least on a DVD is is possible to skip the songs (once you've heard the first 30 seconds, you don't need the remaining 4 minutes, bringing the total running time down to a brain numbing 2 hours 30 minutes.

Not for the faint hearted....no wonder this is the first review...anyone else in the know is probably giving it a wide berth. Personally I blame the wife for this selection!
