What a stinker.

So, what have we got to work with? The greatest legend in British folklore, a great cast and a big budget. And the result? A real stinker.

Why do film makers always treat the Arthurian legend in such Disneyesque style? (I use the term style with some hesitation)

I had hoped that Helena Bonham Carter would save the day, but even she failed to bring any class to this total howler.

Sam Neil has been in other stinkers, which is strange,really, given that he's really quite a good actor, but if he's not embarassed by this, then he jolly well should be.

It is the first thing that I have watched for a long time that I really just couldn't be bothered to perservere with.
