Sequel Goes well

Not as scary as the first, but a damn good sequel flowing with echoes of The Shining. Here, we learn why the cornfield is cursed, and why scarecrows are ....well...scary. Great performances meld the drama with a tightly knit story, hugely enjoyable.- Was this review helpful to you?

(10)Thank the gods for Norman and Matthew
By a customer , 31 Dec 2012This film gets two and a half stars from me. One star for Matthew McNulty who plays the sheriff. A small role, but he's a great actor nonetheless. One star for Norman Reedus who plays John, the main character. He is a fantastic actor and does the best he can with a not-brilliant script. And half a star because... Well, the film at least TRIED to be a bit creepy. And it made me laugh quite a bit. I don't think it intended on being funny but the scarecrow was a bit ridiculous by the end.- Was this review helpful to you?

Not a bad film

It was ghosts and paranormal activity that gave the scares in the first film, and in this one there is hardly nothing like that. So although this film seems to be on a cheaper budget there are a few frightful moments in it. And although the scarecrow seems cheesy this wasn't a bad film.
