I suppose this dvd is aimed at a younger and hipper Buble fan than an old codger like me. The busy, frenetic camera, split/multi-focus images, chopped-up interviews - nearly did my head in. Is this what young people want? In the midst of all that of course, is the singer himself, doing what he does really well - especially in the slow numbers when, thank goodness, the camera is relatively still so we can concentrate on the music. I could have done with less of Buble's soulful direct-to-camera moments (which I imagine will suit his female fans) and the band's eulogies became a bit tedious. Thank goodness in the end for the remote. I could move straight to the songs. He's a superlative singer: phrasing and tempo are immaculate; only occasionally does one remember Sinatra. The music's the thing; cut the rest.

And Blunt's lawyer dad, Oliver, has dismissed rumours her family are concerned about how quickly the relationship has progressed. He says, "We are very happy for her.... Read more
