[Highly rated reviewer]Slow, boring and very long....
I have given this film 1 star just because it has George Clooney in it, otherwise it wouldnt have got any!

Don't botherBy a customer , 25 Nov 2013Terribly slow and predictable, wasted a couple of hours of my life on this one. Even George Clooney couldn't compensate
What's It All About Georgie?By Cato (772 reviews) from Lydbury North , 15 Oct 2013I must admit to wondering what this film was about, some conspiracy about water or something of that nature, but the story's premise is so poorly explained at the beginning that I found everything that happened afterwards quite incomprehensible, and really couldn't wait for it to be over. George Clooney suffers again, as in most of his films, as the good man finding he's been got at in some way, but oh this must be one of the most uninteresting 'thrillers' I've ever watched.
Terrible Trailer, Excellent FilmBy a customer , 17 Jun 2013I was wary of this one, partly because of the mixed reviews and partly because of the trailer which suggested a thin corporate-intrigue yarn spun to look interesting with a bit of running around and a car blowing up. But it's great, really gripping, very clever and with superb performances by a first rate cast. I'm glad I took the chance. Highly recommended.
Filling but undernourishingBy theorganicdomino (75 reviews) , 13 May 2013Well made, efficiently directed, solid performances, some tension but just a little bit dull in parts really. Theres a certain monotony to the pace and style of the film and considering the plaudits Clooney was given for his performance I was surprised at how one note his characterisation was, not bad, but not really a stretch for an actor. Not a film to write off, just not particularly remarkable in any way.
Great FilmBy a customer , 11 May 2013Great Film. Love George Clooney and he was at his best. Intense, fraught, intelligent thriller. Quite long but very engrossing trying to work our what is happening. Loved the ending
