Some good sequences again trashed by the omnipresent Flatley nonsensically directing, i.e. ostentatiously intruding upon, some of the routines.
The film provides a perfect platform for the narcissistic, chest-bearing, body-oiled, but admittedly multi-talented, Flatleys self-aggrandisement. The arena size is impressive and accommodates, at times, a large troupe of dancers; however, the dimensions of the stage are probably required more to house Flatleys massive and ever-inflating ego.
if you have not seen a michael flatley production before then hire this film if however you have seen one,two or more of his productions then i can honestly say you are in for nothing new as they are basically the same apart from different costumes and musicyou would have to be a big fan of irish dancing or mr flatley to want to hire any more than two of these the reason for four stars is the fact its a brilliant show but only if you've seen one anymore and you will get bored
