    Smooth

It is great to see this now on DVD. However at first I thought it wasn't the film I remembered, as countless tasteless scenes of fainting, hysterical fans at concerts played out. But eventually it was worth watching for the pure nostalgia of strange memories of dancing rabbits, robots and crazy cartoon tourists. But above all it is the song and film sequence for Smooth Criminal. It grabs me completely every time; it has got to be the best MJ piece ever, alone worth the high rating. It’s also great as a showcase for his earliest stuff, when you are just overwhelmed by the realization of what a prodigious talent he was from such a young age. It’s a shame his music has faded so much recently and even he wasn't able to make his own wish come true, that his private life be left alone. But whatever you think of him, his musical talent it without doubt genius.

    A showcase of remarkable talent

Michael Jackson's Moonwalker is collage of music video and concert footage, and contains a short movie written by the Man himself.

The film starts off with a spectacular performance of 'Man In The Mirror', in which Michael dazzles rivers of fans from varying venues around the world. It then goes on to showcase Michael's music videos and acheivements made over the years.

The meat of the film, of course, is the short movie starring both Michael Jackson and Joe Pesci. Pesci plays a drug-lord intent on making addicts out of the children of the world. Michael finds himself involved when he stumbles upon Pesci's secret layre.

Throughout the short film Michael is chased by Pesci's military-like army. However, Pesci's henchmen are no match for Michael and his lucky star, which he wishes upon when needing to get out of a sticky situation.

A must-see for kids and adults alike.
