Running out of ideas?

We have enjoyed many Midsomer Murder episodes, however this is the first one where the scriptwriters seemed to be running out of ideas.
The plot of the story is straightforward and the characters well played, but the introduction of a major and unrelated second plot associated with management takes both time in the film and introduces unnecessary levels of complexity into what would have been a good story on its own.- Was this review helpful to you?
