    [Highly rated reviewer]

Midsomer Murders is my favourite mystery series, with its lovely scenery and superb acting. Tom Barnaby played by John Nettles is joined by his new sidekick Jones, who is played by Jason Hughes. Jones uses his own initiative more than his predecessors Gavin Troy and Dan Scott, but he is equally as appealing and likeable. A superb Midsomer Murder.
