Endlessly quotable
By Nick Gypps from Bath, England , 03 Apr 2010[Highly rated reviewer]
Nuts in May is my favourite Mike Leigh film: perfect characterisation and endlessly quotable.
Most of the main characters even have spoof facebook accounts!- Was this review helpful to you?

(19)ABIGAIL'S PARTY
By a customer , 28 May 2013This is, surely, a deplorable exercise in the type of social snobbery and arrogance that's so commonly found amongst the (usually left wing) metropolitan elite? The people represented by these characters were just ordinary, working-class people trying to make the best of their lives; surely they do not deserve Mr Leigh's disdain and satiric distortion? At best, it's an interesting document about class attitudes in the late 20th century.- Was this review helpful to you?

Nuts in May
By a customer , 08 Jan 2013Couldn't watch it to the end, too boring. The characters were unbelievable, and the whole thing was very dated. Did we really order it?- Was this review helpful to you?

Beware the dross amongst the GOLD
By a customer , 14 Nov 2012Warning do not waste your time with KISS OF DEATH, WHO'S WHO, 4 DAYS. IN JULY, HOME SWEET HOME sorry but they will disappoint even the biggest M L fans, believe me!

Dated but Funny Social Commentary on Camping Holiday
By MaryC (23 reviews) from Oxford , 25 Apr 2011I think this suffered from being a bit dated and the social interections and observations weren't as sharp as in 'Secrets and Lies' but this was still good entertainment. The sing-along episode made me cringe. Lots of funny moments.- Was this review helpful to you?
