This was the most boring movie i've seen in a long time. It was written by Bono from U2, not sure what he was on when he wrote it. The story drags, the narrator mumbles, uh don't bother....

Pretentious rubbish. Not worht the time, no suspence, ridiculous acting and stupid music. You can tell Bono's involved. Watch something else.

  • A Great Film

Despite some Ignorant views on this feature, Bono did not make this film! He mearly provided the soundtrack and had some input on the visual aspects surrounding the direction.

Directed By Wim Wenders. I found this film brilliant and now own it. The story surrounds the Million Dollar Hotel, a run down hotel in a far from upbeat town. Everyone who is staying in the hotel has some sort of mental disfunction and each character has their own witty and obsurd manner about them. A murder is commited when someone is pushed off the roof of the hotel, cue, Mel Gibson - A CIA agent who's job it is to discover who in the hotel is responsible. Harder than it seems when everyone acts crazy. The main character Tom Tom narrates throughout and has a distinct fasination with one of the other residents.

Be it a bit down beat this film provides a great script, great acting, a love story, and a gripping murder mystery. Filled with witty one-liners and a cast of great character.

This is the only film both my husband and I have stopped watching well before the end (or even the middle).

A pretentious attempt at movie making, Bono would have been wiser to donate the budget to a needy cause.... on second thought, this movie is the most needy cause in the film world!

I can't include a spoiler due to the lack of plot, dialogue or any redeeming feature at all.

It's a great crazy film that will warm you up and make you want to run out and buy it after you've seen it. The light behind the paint.

A film about love, friendship and treachery.

Brilliant actors (we were absolutely stunned by the fact that Mila Jovovich can actually act!!!) good idea and storyline, deeply involving.

I loved it, and even the ever-criticizing boyfriend had to admit that it was great!

Just don't be fooled by the fact that it starts at a very slow pace, give it a chance, it's really worth it!
