Mimic 1 was quite an ...

Mimic 1 was quite an enjoyable film. At least it had plausible characters and an involving story line, even though the science of it all was a little far-fetched. Mimic 2 however, had none of that, especially missing the presence of Mina Sorvino. In Mimic 2, the story was slow to get started, and the ties into the first film were flimsy at most. The characters were loose and unbelievable, and the deaths of the many hapless humans were not gory enough for a horror flick. All in all, if you are into horror, do not watch this film on pain of death. Like so many B-movie sequels, this one has flopped onto its face. I would literally stamp it under my boot!- Was this review helpful to you?

The script is sharp and more than makes up for how dumb the 'monster' looks. They could have ended up with a pretty good sci-fi thriller if they had toned down on the creature effects..- Was this review helpful to you?

This is an enjoyable movie, with likeable characters and interesting monsters. It is very different in tone from the first film, which is understandable since the Judas bugs have evolved quite a bit since then.- Was this review helpful to you?

Mimic 2 DON'T WATCH be warned!!!

What a disappointment I couldn't really find anything enjoyable about it. The funniest bit was pinning her clothes to the wall?!?!
