Ludicrous thriller in the Ten Little Indians mould, overheated and so far fetched that it is more likely to invoke laughter rather than terror. Judging by these agents, the FBI would be better off recruiting the Three Stooges.

I watched this last year and was impressed by the movie as a whole. It has a lot of familiar faces and i thought the story line was quite good. Put it this way-it is a definite popcorn film for a staurday night with your feet up-well worth the watch. As a bonus for those with a taste for gore-There are some 'nice' killings!!
Missed this one at the cinema and considering my misgivings about it I was pleasantly suprised by how good it actually was. Don't get me wrong it isn't great by any stretch, but the cinematography if amazing and the tension in the film is fantastic as are the action scenes. So what is bad? Well the plot and screenplay for one thing. I don't know whether the film tries to be too clever but the attempt at clever twists in the film are clumsy and amateurish. Renny Harlin should stick to pure suspense and action and not try to inject clever character interplay into his flims. The acting in places was painful. LL Cool J made my teeth hurt with his attempt at comic one liners, and Johnny Lee Miller's attempt at an american accent was Dick van Dyke in reverse! Val Kilmer gave the impression that he was killing time doing this flim inbetween washing the car and mowing the lawn on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoy this film for the suspense and the tension which is truly excellent just try not to think about the acting!
