Disney on ice

A Mighty Ducks for adults without all the usual happy smiling faces. These kids are competing to fill a team which in 1980 was actually still made of amateur sportsmen. Kurt Russell plays their coach with an Olympic history of his own that explains his drive to make them the best they can be. I liked that while in a team of twenty the film focused on maybe five or six key players you weren't able to forget that they were a team of twenty. Didn't notice the two hours pass as I watched it.- Was this review helpful to you?

Miracle
By peterkenmuir (2 reviews) from Heanor , 18 Feb 2009This film was absolutely fantastic, im an ice hockey fan but i feel that you dont have to be in order to enjoy the film, its a true tail of triumph in the face of adversity and a testament to the human spirit, unlike the rocky films this actually happened! Even though i am english and the film is about an american triumph it still brought a tear to my eye, Great film and strongly recommended by me- Was this review helpful to you?
