    Good Story, Poor Picture Quality

I really do enjoy watching Joan Hickson as Miss Marple, but on this occassion, the very poor film to DVD transfer deflated my enthusiam for watching.

The colours looked very grey, dull and flat with a bad green colour cast It's like the white-balance is off. For example, green walls, road tarmac, pavements, faces. A real pity the BBC didn't do more to correct and clean-up this DVD before release.

I got so frustrated with the technical quality, I gave up and posted the disc back after a hour!!

    The best Miss Marple

Without doubt Joan Hickson is the definitive Miss Marple, she was in fact the choice of Agatha Christie herself who had seen her perform in another play and decided that years later she was the actress she wanted to play her Miss Marple.

This adventure was one of my favourites
