    Well acted, but predictable

Although we've probably all just about had enough of films about Vietnam or its aftermath now, this promised to be a little different, so I gave it go. Certainly the acting was good from both main characters, but I can honestly say I will probably have forgotten the film fairly soon. The 'plot', which is minimal, is fairly predictable and some of the 'characters' in the film are stereotypical 'rednecks', so nothing new delivered. It didn't squeeze a tear out of me even when it clearly should have. Disappointing.
