  • Empty-headed action flick, even more like a James Bond adventure than its predecessor, with a risible narrative gimmick of face-mask disguises; the stunts are often spectacular, but as they are staged like circus turns, they rapidly become uninvolving.

    Unintentionally hysterical. The bit near the end when Tom Cruise walks passed the doorway in slo-mo with white doves flapping around him had me rolling on the floor. I wish John Woo would bugg*r off back to Hong Kong. At least it's better than the first one, although that's not to difficult.
