Unintentionally hysterical. The bit near the end when Tom Cruise walks passed the doorway in slo-mo with white doves flapping around him had me rolling on the floor. I wish John Woo would bugg*r off back to Hong Kong. At least it's better than the first one, although that's not to difficult.

    John WOOO WOOO

Sam Peckinpah he ain't. This movie is just plain dumb and BADLY directed, this man has clearly lost the plot.

We have a virus that when in the blood stream, doesn't actually seem contagious, as the 2 characters that do actually pump it into their blood stream wander willy nilly through airports, cities and have close contact with the other main characters, who don't seem to care or contract anything. So you ask yourself,erm...where is the danger exactly?

Tom Cruise does a lot of posturing and ludacrious stunts. Lot's of mask ripping and crummy dialogue, infact if you want a laugh, it's much funnier than Starsky and Hutch.

On the pants scale it gets 4 out of 5.

Chav's will like it - brain dead John woo drivel

Only brain dead chav's will relate to the brain dead film making of John Woo. Quite simply Woo is the worst film maker in history with his all style and no substance approach.

Over the top acting, dreadful dialogue, stupid photography and TONS of unncecessary slow motion shots.

    AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE.

    Very Good!

Tom Cruise returns as IMF agent Ethan Hunt, this time there's even more sequences involving synthetic mask switching so we don't know who's face belongs to who! The film has kinetic, speedy camera-work once the action kicks in, until then i think it's very well balanced & highly enjoyable, a bit rompish at times but Cruise is always worth the watch and the film has intrigued me to find out more about John Woo, and what's with his fascination with doves?!!

    Mission Impossible 2

Great follow up to the first one, Tom Cruise at his best, It was a great story line and the action sequences from beginning to end espcially the scenes with the motorbikes was fantastic, Dougray Scott as the Bad Guy added oomph! and Thandie Newton the sex appeal, If your an action film fan this is a must.

    Poor Action Film

MI 1 was only average. This film despit a few good special effects is very mediocre. The stunts always look unbelievable and much of the acting is wooden.

    Friday night viewing

Not exactly one of John Woo's best films, come to speak of it not one of Tom Cruise's best either. Full of action just like the first, but yet again a weak and unconvincing story. Ideal to watch on a friday night when staying in with a few drinks as it is easy to watch.
